Butch Kruse has been solutioning California Sales Tax Audit issues for over 30 years. He started his professional career as a CA State Board of Equalization Sales Tax Auditor and then enjoyed an extreme successful career in Sales Tax Audit management for IBM and then Siemens AG. His CA Sales Tax Audit experience has been from both sides of the table, first as a representative of the CA State Board of Equalization and later various management positions at IBM and Siemens, ultimately taking an early retirment package as the Director of Sales/Use and Property Taxes.
His keen knowledge of the CA Sales Tax audit procedures and law has served him well in appeals of California Sales Tax Audits.
His many years of experience managing and negotiating sales tax audits has honed proven and successful strategies in reducing audit assessments. His track record has consistently produced substantial reductions in Sales Tax Audit liabilities.
David Pidal has recently joined the firm after an extremely successful career with the CA State Board of Equalization. During his 33 years of dedicated service holding every conceivable position except administrator, he has encountered numerous situations.
